Dear Eastridge Family,
Tonight, we will have our worship service at 7PM in the church sanctuary. Claudia Romero will be sharing the message so don’t out of this time of worship and fellowship.
I look forward to being with you tonight!
Sunday morning during the worship service we will be receiving our Alabaster offering. The Alabaster Offering provides funds for property and buildings around the world. It gives a sense of permanence, the attitude that the Church of the Nazarene intends to "put down roots." Eighty percent of the money is used in world mission areas, and twenty percent goes to multicultural congregations in the United States and Canada. Alabaster funds help provide land for most Work & Witness projects. The entire offering goes toward the construction of churches, schools, medical facilities, and homes for missionaries and national workers.
We will celebrate a baptism service this Sunday September 24th. Following the baptism service, we will have a potluck dinner.
Pastor Eva is having another membership class starting October 1st, at 9:45 am during the Sunday school hour. Please talk to her if you are interested in discovering what being a member of Eastridge Church of the Nazarene is all about.

“A baptism of holiness, a demonstration of godly living is the crying need of our day.” – Duncan Campbell
It will not do for us to go to Heaven by ourselves. We must be on fire, friends for saving others. To be workers will draw heaven down and will draw others to heaven. Without a readiness to work, the Spirit of prayer will not come. – Evan Roberts
Instead of suggesting that we could escape the earth to go to heaven, Jesus’s good news was about heaven coming to earth. – N. T. Wright
In a book written by his son and daughter- in-law, they reveal that Hudson Taylor’s Spiritual Secret was that he obediently walked closely with God in prayer. Howard Taylor wrote of his father, “For forty years the sun never rose on China a single day that God didn’t find him on his knees.”
